The Security Brands, Inc. Fire Access Box models are require Knox Key Switch from Knox Company. Our Our line of fire access boxes offers a selection of different post-mount models.

These stations are made of bright-red powder-coated steel for easy identification by first responders. All fire access boxes are standalone units, allowing the convenience of installation wherever they may be required.

About Accessory Uses

The Security Brands, Inc. line of Fire Access stations offers a selection of two different post mount models. Both models feature heavy metal, powder coated enclosures. The face plates on model #’s 15-013 and 15-014 are painted a bright red for easy identification by the fire department. All Fire Access stations are stand alone units, allowing the convenience of installation wherever it may be required.

Model # 15-013 is designed to be used with a Knox Lock key switch (not included). Model #15-014 offers a padlock closure with a simple Micro Switch that activates a relay when the padlock holding the panel closed is removed. Seeking the padlock or key switch? When it comes to dual door applications, one of the main factors we need to be aware of is which door functions as the primary and which door will function as the secondary. Both of the bars included in this package have a pre-designated purpose. The main panic exit bar is designed to be the first to open. For the secondary door to open the primary door must initially be engaged. All secondary bars are equipped with a vertical rod since this is what compliments the dual door function. Included in this package would be the 1000UL (primary), and 1200UL Series Panic Exit Bars (secondary).
