The 2500 Key Override Hook Bolt is designed for sliding doors. When turned to the locked position, the hook will strike into the mortised jamb or into the surface mounted strike plate (both are included with the lock). The 2500 can also be used like the 2200 Surface Mount Deadbolt, but is most commonly used on sliding glass doors where a hook lock configuration is necessary. Combination can be 2-7 digits in length with tumblers provided. If you would like your combination to be 0-9 digits in length, please purchase the Tumbler Kit (see related items). An ideal lock for sliding glass doors, sliding gates, and door walls. This unit has a key override option for the outside knob only, so you can choose to either entry by combination or key.

Note: If you are ordering more than 1 lock and would like them keyed alike, when choosing the finish please choose the keyed alike option. Keyed alike means the same physical key will fit the lock, usually locks will come with different physical combinations.
