The Sentry E. Labs switched handle is an exiting device that can be added to any locking system. To use this handle you can use an access control device or keep the handle in the downward unlocked position to disengage any lock as you travel through the door. The switched lever handle is able to unlock a door by keeping the microswitch engaged inside the body of the handle.

The Sentry E. Labs switched handle works by using a rotor built into the handle mechanism to trigger a microswitch to release a lock. As long as the microswitch is engaged you will be able to disengage the locking device. You can also pair this switched handle with a device that has a built in timed relay to also unlock a locking device. The switched handle will communicate with the access device which will then communicate with the locking device.
