The Sentry E. Labs Standard Duty Weather Resistant Electromagnetic door lock requires the use of an access control device that has a built in timed relay that can control the amount of time the electromagnet is unlocked for. One unique feature of this electromagnetic lock is that it is built to be weather resistant and can be installed on outside doors. The internal mechanisms are sealed in epoxy and the case is made from stainless steel. This electromagnet has a holding force for 600lbs.

The Sentry E. Labs weather resistant electromagnetic door lock is only designed to work with 12v DC power sources.

The weather resistant electromagnetic door lock does not have a timed relay built in. The door locking system, must have a device with a timed relay in order to regulate the amount of time the door is unlocked.
